Nurture the seed and it will grow

Tina Herewini - Team Leader

After a period of reflection and resetting, I’ve returned to my passion for teaching. Excited to collaborate with amazing kaiako and awesome kaiawhina teaching meaningful life skills in our takiwātanga space. I look forward to the year ahead,  building new relationships, embracing new learning opportunities, overcoming challenges, and experiencing the growth that this new journey is set to offer.

Rebecca Ratu

As a Kaiako in our Takiwātanga Unit, my focus is on supporting our team to enable our tamariki to blossom to their full potential.

I love the philosophy behind Takiwātanga - that our tamariki learn in their own time and space.

Diane Rossiter - Kaiako

I am blessed and have a real passion for teaching and helping to support the individual development of each tamaiti in our Takiwātanga space.  I aim to nurture our tamariki for their talents, believing that ‘one size does not fit all’, and all learners are unique.
