Takiwātanga

Rebecca Ratu - Team Leader

As Lead Kaiako in our Takiwātanga Unit, my focus is on supporting our team to enable our tamariki to blossom to their full potential.  My role is to communicate, collaborate and work alongside whānau and other outside support agencies to cater and implement programmes for each child's individual needs.

I love the philosophy behind Takiwātanga - that our tamariki learn in their own time and space.

Diane Rossiter - Kaiako

I am blessed and have a real passion for teaching and helping to support the individual development of each tamaiti in our Takiwātanga space.  I aim to nurture our tamariki for their talents, believing that ‘one size does not fit all’, and all learners are unique.

Toni Ramanui - Kaiako

The success of our tamariki begins with postive connections, ensuring they feel comfortable and building positive relationships between our kura and whānau.   It is an honor to be a part of the development in shaping our tamariki where they are capable and confident achievers.

Ko te ahurei o te tamaiti aroha o tātou mahi" - Let the uniqueness of the child guide our work.
